The Backlash Against Equity

Equity has always been the key to ensuring that every child has what they need to be successful, so how did we get to the place where the very topic of equity has become polarized, politicized, and vilified? Hear from two award-winning educators how to endure in these times.

Outcomes:

After this session, participants will be able to: 1. Strategize on ways to continue to show up for the work of equity. 2. Learn how to find joy and love in working toward equity in spite of the times we may be in. 3. Build community to continue to pursue equity and access for our children in the face of backlash.
