Attendees will learn how empowering students to share their stories fosters confident, self-directed writers, and encourages community involvement. Educators will gain strategies to help students develop excellent writing skills and cultivate confident students who understand that their words can drive world-changing impact.
Outcomes:After this session, participants will be able to cultivate a vibrant writing community across classrooms, homes, and schools. Participants will be prepared to apply best practices in empowering students with story, integrating storytelling into family engagement initiatives, valuing diverse community voices, and fostering empathy.
