In today's ever-changing educational landscape, schools often encounter turbulent times characterized by budget constraints, student behavioral issues, teacher burnout, and educational reforms. To thrive in these challenging and uncertain environments, educators, administrators, and all stakeholders must harness the power of emotional intelligence (EQ). This workshop, inspired by the ASCD book "The EQ Way: Navigating Turbulent Times in Schools," is designed to equip participants with practical strategies for fostering EQ within the education system, leading to resilient schools and student success. During our time together, we will focus on three critical areas for harnessing the power for EQ: 1) Enhancing personal and team EQ, 2) Creating an emotionally intelligent school culture, and 3) Effective communication and conflict resolution. Join us in embracing emotional intelligence as the cornerstone for navigating turbulent times in schools and learning how to nurture a thriving learning community.
