Dwayne Chism is a former teacher, principal, principal supervisor and Dean for the School of Education. Chism's passion for educational leadership and equity has fueled his commitment to enhancing opportunities and outcomes for all learners. Chism has authored several articles for ASCD and is the author of Leading Your School Toward Equity: A Practical Framework for Walking the Talk. In 2018, he established Shifting Perspectives, LLC, an organization dedicated to helping schools develop a culture and mindset that authentically fosters equity within learning environments.
