About the Presenters

Alicia S. Monroe, Ed.D., an ASCD faculty member, is an experienced PK-20 educator, international education consultant, author, career coach, and the CEO and founder of Solutions for Sustained Success LLC. Monroe teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses at Rowan University, and she was instrumental in designing and developing ASCD’s Whole Child Framework.

Grant A. Chandler, an ASCD faculty member, is the co-author of Powerful Student Care: Honoring Each Learner as Distinctive and Irreplaceable. He has over 35 years of practical experience as a high school teacher, building and central office administrator, higher education dean, technical support provider, and executive coach. He’s currently the president and CEO of Students Matter, and is the host of “The Wheelhouse” podcast. Chandler has helped over 300 districts develop systemic approaches to solving student learning issues.
