Event Information and FAQs

The 2024 Leadership Summit will be held from Friday, October 18, through midday Sunday, October 20, 2024. Action Planning will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, October 17, and the Welcome Reception will be held that evening. The event is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

The ASCD Leadership Summit 2024 nurtures education leaders by creating a platform and community to connect, learn, and strategize. This immersive, three-day professional development event provides nearly 100 professional learning sessions where you’ll gain powerful new approaches to help your team solve its most pressing challenges. Along the way, you’ll discover innovative leadership approaches, collaborate with peers from diverse districts and gain strategic insights to improve your school’s practices.

The Action Planning for Continued Growth program has you come together with your team and leadership peers to develop an action plan to solve the most pressing challenge your school community is facing. You’ll spend dedicated time analyzing root causes, barriers and challenges, and then develop an action plan with defined commitments you can bring back to your school.

The full program will be launched in April, with featured speakers and additional content being added each month leading up to the event.

All registration details can be found in your 2024 Leadership Summit account. You can print or resend your receipt or confirmation email from the “Attendee Menu” link in your account.

You may be able to earn continuing education credits (CEUs) or graduate-level credit for attending the Leadership Summit. A certificate of attendance will be available to all registrants after the event.
Conference hours are not automatically eligible for CEU hours. Reach out to your district or state Department of Education to find out how to secure CEUs before the conference to ensure you can obtain your hours.
