Dustin Rimmey
Academic Interventionist, Social Studies
Lawrence High School
Rimmey has been in the classroom since 2007 as the Director of Speech and Debate at Topeka High (2007-2024) and a Middle School Social Studies Teacher (Present).
At the core of Rimmey's educational philosophy lies the belief that play and creativity are vital in rekindling our students' enthusiasm for learning. Beyond the classroom, he revels in quality time with his three children, each having names inspired by characters from the West Wing. When not consumed by teaching or parenting, you'll likely find him engrossed in the world of comic books, expanding his Funko Pop collection, or engrossed in a captivating tabletop role-playing game.
