Dr. Kelly Hastings is the founder of Enlightening Leadership; she is an innovative educational leader and coach dedicated to empowering school principals and fostering transformative change in education. With a background as a principal, Kelly has first-hand experience in the profound benefits of coaching and its ability to drive meaningful, lasting improvements in school environments by working with teachers to realize your goals. Drawing on these experiences, Kelly founded Enlightening Leadership to provide coaching and training focused on coaching innovation and the effective implementation of the clients’ innovative initiatives.Dr. Hastings has served in public education for over 25 years, most recently as a Middle School Principal. She recently earned an ACC coaching certification through the International Coaching Federation, and is continuing her learning by becoming an Implementation Specialist. Leadership is her heart and soul! She is working to support leaders in educational organizations, mostly school principals, in applying effective leadership to their implementation initiatives so they can be better leaders and they can realize the student outcomes they deserve. She has presented with EdChamps (ASCD), Learning Forward Texas, and with local districts.
