Dr. Katherine Philp is an educator, researcher, and knowledge broker with diverse, cross-sector experience in teaching, youth development, and non-profit leadership. Dr. Philp’s scholarly work focuses on afterschool programs and community-based learning, including applications of social and behavioral theory to youth development settings. She is currently the Director of the Education Knowledge Broker Network at the University of Delaware. In this role, she creates opportunities for professional learning to promote evidence use and mobilization at the intersection of education research, policy, and practice.
