Austin is the Director of Learning at MegaMinds. A classroom teacher for more than 20 years, he developed STEAM and Gifted & Talented programs centered on student agency, critical thinking, and creativity. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education and a specialization in Gifted Education. At MegaMinds, he’s scaling what he did in the classroom - helping students learn through PBL, differentiation, and deep thinking, while keeping humans at the center. Austin is an open-water swimmer who has competed in three OceanMan 2km races. He’s also a sushi chef and macro photographer, always finding ways to bring small details into focus.
