Nicole is the Emerging Technology Specialist for the Maine Department of Education, where she supports the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into classrooms across the state. With over 20 years of experience teaching math and science in Maine and North Carolina, she brings a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students and educators. Nicole has led numerous presentations and workshops, equipping schools with effective strategies to implement AI across grade levels. She is also the co-author of EduProtocols: AI Literacy Edition, releasing in spring 2025. Nicole lives in Damariscotta with her dog, Luna, and enjoys exploring nature.
