Bonnie Chelette currently serves as the Director of Educational Technology at the Louisiana Department of Education. She has been in education for 18 years serving in a variety of roles from teacher, department chair, instructional coach, and district technology facilitator. She is a Google for Education Certified Innovator, Trainer, & Coach, and co-founder of Global GEG. Bonnie has earned multiple degrees including a BS in Secondary Education, a MA in History, an Ed.S in Educational Leadership and Instruction, and her Doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership. Her EdTech interests include educational technology integration, cybersecurity, and generative AI in education.
