Cathy Clum is a middle school math teacher at Taos Charter School who is passionate about making STEM subjects engaging, relevant, and accessible to all students. Before transitioning to education, she served for nearly 22 years as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, working primarily in the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. She holds degrees in Electronic Engineering, Biology, and Computer Information Systems. Cathy enjoys integrating hands-on engineering and maker-centered projects into her classroom to spark curiosity and persistence in young learners.
