Session description

In this session, we will model the practice of team-created PLC protocols--and we'll show you how to do this yourself, with your own team(s) in 30 minutes or less. True collaboration involves the co-creation of plans, documents, and yes--protocols.

Outline

Introduction (3-5 minutes)--Professional background/credibility

Addressing the problem (3-5 minutes)--Why teams get stuck

Referencing the research (3-5 minutes)--Feedback/cues mini-quiz with audience

Modeling a proactive protocol that I've created (10 minutes)

Guided practice/group creation of protocols (30 minutes)--folks will work with those around them to design/draft a protocol that their teams could use to address a "stuck" conversation topic

Gallery walk/Reflection (10 minutes)--final notes/digital link to photos of their designs
