Outcomes

Purpose: To equip educators with practical, high-impact strategies that teach K-12 students self-regulation and focus skills needed to navigate the digital learning environment effectively. Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1. Identify and implement three specific Digital Focus techniques (e.g., using digital tools for timed work) with students. 2. Teach students a 3-step routine for analyzing and managing their own digital distractions. 3. Design a personalized learning routine for students that encourages mindful technology use.
After this session, participants will be able to implement the Digital Focus & Self-Regulation Toolkit—including student-facing checklists and routines—to immediately teach mindful digital habits and improve student focus in the classroom.
