Event Information
* Establish the Why (5 mins):
- Welcome/Meet the presenters
- Set the session goal: "By the end of this hour, you will have created a complete action plan for an AI-powered project that is ready to use in your classroom."
- Establish framework/agenda of the session: Briefly introduce the core concept: using AI interviews as the foundation for creative, inquiry-based projects. Connect this to the ISTE Standards (Knowledge Constructor, Creative Communicator) and Transformational Learning Principles (Prioritize Authentic Experiences, Ignite Agency) to ground the session in solid pedagogy.
- Materials: session slide deck, action plan template
* Demonstration_Create chatbot (5 mins): With audience input, presenters will lead the audience through how to use AI to create a character chatbot. We will then use the audience’s responses and questions to create an artifact to demonstrate what we have learned from the chatbot.
* Engagement_Create chatbot (10 min): Audience will be given time to create a character chat bot for a historical figure, literary character, math concept, or scientific concept they would like their students to 'interview'.
- Materials: Student Character Interview template
* Demonstration_Demonstrate Learning (10 min): Presenters will showcase several ways students can creatively demonstrate their learning from the chatbot experience. (Animation, info graphic, podcast, presentation, video, etc.
* Engagement-Demonstrate Learning (15 min): Audience will be given time to create an artifact to demonstrate what they have learned from engaging with their created chatbot.
- Suggested tools: Adobe Express, Google Workspace
- Materials: Student storyboard template
* Share-out/reflection (10 min): The audience will add their chatbot link as well as their demonstration of learning to the whiteboard.
- Suggested tools: Google Workspace, Markify, Figma
- Materials: collaborative board
* Wrap up/Q & A (5 min)

* Lesson Action Plan: A teacher-facing template outlining the steps, tools, and learning outcomes for designing an AI-powered inquiry project.
* Character Interview Template: A student-facing document to guide the AI character interview process and structure their inquiry.
* Student Choice Board: A customizable choice board providing students with diverse, creative options for their final multimedia artifact.
* Media Storyboard Template: A student-facing planning document to help them organize and storyboard their ideas before creating their final media product.
