Leading Through Division: Creating Schools Where Every Student Thrives

We are living in a time of deep division, yet schools remain one of the last places where people still come together around a shared purpose—our children. This is not a time for schools to sit idle; it is a time for us to lead, to unify, and to be intentional about the environments we create for every student. When we rally around our students, we remind ourselves—and each other—why this work matters. Drawing from my work with schools across the country, I will share how leaders can build aligned systems that strengthen instruction and ensure every student is seen, valued, and given real opportunity, while also supporting educators who, in this moment, are being asked to do more than ever. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to take action, align their teams, and create inclusive, student-centered environments aligned with ISTE+ASCD’s vision for transformative learning.
