John David Booth is an 8th Grade World History teacher and instructional leader at Echols Middle School in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. He holds a Master’s in Education, a Post-Master’s Certificate, and is pursuing an Ed.S. in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. As SGA Sponsor, NJHS Co-Sponsor, and member of the School Leadership and Whole Child Teams, he fosters student leadership and engagement. His Signature Project, Addressing Chronic Absenteeism to Improve Student Achievement, integrates AI tools to enhance literacy and equity. He recently presented Empowering Literacy with AI at the Alabama National Board Conference.
