Thaddeus Lathan
Digital Teaching and Learning Coordinator
Harnett County Schools
Throughout my career, I have pursued one goal: advancing educational equity by blending strong instruction with technological innovation, especially in underserved communities. I hold a Bachelor’s in Mathematics with a Computer Science minor, along with advanced degrees in Teaching and Learning with Technology and Emerging Technologies. My research, grounded in CBAM and TAM, informs how I design professional development and implement tools teachers will adopt. With three decades in education, I’ve moved from classroom teacher to district technology coordinator and author of Get Your Groove Back!—equipping educators to use AI meaningfully while ensuring disadvantaged students access innovative learning.
