Traci Rindlisbach has been an educator for 16 years and loves learning. She really digs digital learning and how engaging it is for students and teachers; moreover, she believes that digital learning helps students become creators and actively learn all while building those essential 21st Century skills! Traci works as a Digital Learning and Elementary Computer Science Specialist for Jordan School District. She gets to help others build their digital skills and implement Computer Science in elementary schools.

Using the ISTE Digital Citizenship Competencies as a framework, attendees will learn about our work as a district as part of the ISTE + Pinterest Digital Citizenship & Wellness Initiative. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of digital citizenship, integration strategies, and a digcit teaching deck to implement best practices.
Your Personalized Soda Pop Shop: Customizing Your Classroom


Inspired by our Utah-based tradition of customized soda shops, this playground models the mixology of personalized learning. Our "Big 6 Tools" serve as the Base (Soda). Participants blend strategies (Flavor/Cream) to yield a personalized product (Mixed Soda). Leave with a custom "Recipe Card" for immediate classroom integration.
Jazz Hands and Mammoth Plans: The Jordan Innovation Lab


This session details the launch and operation of the Jordan Innovation Lab, a 4−6 grade district Makerspace. We will share specifics on working with community partners, acquiring high-end equipment and integration of classroom content. We will also share hosting district-wide field trips and "Teacher Tinker Time".
