With two decades of service in education, Lisa Adams has built a career defined by instructional leadership, teacher mentorship, and a commitment to literacy. She spent 12 years as an English teacher and eight in administration, serving as an Instructional Supervisor and Assistant Principal.
In addition to her school leadership roles, she instructs Career & Technical Education (CTE) alternate route teachers, bridging industry expertise with effective pedagogy.
She is currently pursuing a doctorate focusing on teaching writing. Her research is informed by the changing landscape of literacy, specifically the shift from print to multimodal literacy, including digital, auditory, and visual texts.
