Event Information
All content will be designed by the chosen presenters through an application process. The presenters will be determined by a committee of representatives from the ISTE Community Leaders group. The playground time structure will be two sets of 45-minute presentations with 15 minutes between to switch presenters at the various stations as needed. Participants will be able to join presentations already in session and walk amongst all of the presentations to glean the most important information for their practice. The processes will vary depending on the presenter at each station, but immersive and interactive strategies will be encouraged.
Attendees will learn a variety of content and explore problems of practice related to the coaching field, from strategies to support teachers to new integration ideas that support student learning. The outcomes will be dependent on the presenters chosen to present by the ISTE Community Leaders committee.
The purpose of this playground is to provide coaches with an opportunity to learn about best and upcoming practices in their field as well as network and connect with others around the globe. Participants will be able to evaluate these new practices and determine how they may fit best within their own practice. This playground will support the need for coaches to be at the forefront of technology integration practices as well as adhere to research and evidence-based coaching strategies.
