Session Outline: From Playful Learning Communities to Powerful Learning Systems (Panel Discussion)

1. Welcome (5 minutes)

Brief overview of the Powerful Learning framework (agency, purpose, curiosity, connection).

2. Panelist Stories: Community in Action (20 minutes)

Panelists share how connection and authentic collaboration are the starting points to meet real educators’ needs.

Panelists highlight opportunities to receive and give feedback, reflecting on this process, and identifying playful strategies they’ve created/tried

Panelists discuss how online networks (Discord, LinkedIn) extend beyond single professional learning events

Each panelist connects their story to Powerful Learning principles

3. Panel Discussion: Scaling in Practice (15 minutes)
Explore how educator-led communities expand into broader networks.

Highlight the role of collaboration and leadership and its impact

Share lived examples of grassroots efforts informing district, state, or national practice.
