The revised CSTA PK12 Standards outline a bold vision for preparing all students for an AI-driven world. Join school, district, and state leaders as they share strategies for aligning vision, policy, and practice, supporting educators, and building equitable CS pathways that translate the standards into actionable systems-level change.

Outline

10 min – Welcome and Framing: Overview of the revised CSTA PK-12 Standards, including major shifts and priorities, plus a description of the research- and community-driven process used to develop the standards.

25 min – Panel Discussion: School, district, and state leaders share strategies for aligning policy and practice to this new vision for CS education.

10–15 min – Interactive Q&A: Participants engage with panelists through facilitated discussion and live polling.

5 min – Reflection and Action Planning: Participants reflect on their own contexts, identify leadership priorities, and plan next steps.

5–10 min – Share-Out and Closing: Facilitate sharing of reflections, resources, and key takeaways from both panelists and participants.
