Session description

Students today face rising levels of adversities. Multilingual learners often carry even heavier burdens, such as war, persecution, perilous journeys, family separation, and fear of deportation. This session offers evidence-based, strengths-focused strategies to create safe, empowering classrooms where every student can heal, learn, and thrive.

Outline

This three session will include:
I. Understanding Strengths-Based Empowerment Practices
II. Collaboratively examining the urgency and essential elements of responsive strengths-based empowerment approaches in educational settings.
III. Exploring evidence-based instructional strategies to create strengths-based, empowering classroom and school environments that empower multilingual learners with adverse childhood experiences.
