Session description

Our students who struggle with behaviors in school are often hypersensitive to the way we talk to them. And we're often unaware of some of the ways we may trigger them with our language. For example, did you know that starting praise with, "I love the way you..." can be like nails on a chalkboard for some kids? In this lively session, we'll explore a few key language moves that can help minimize power struggles and support positive relationship building with some of our most prickly students.
