Explore how future-ready skills apply to industries like entertainment design, aerospace, cybersecurity, and marine science, providing concrete examples that connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities. This tour will meet in Room W206BC of the Orange County Convention Center.

Come play and explore multiple formats/genres of digital storytelling and tools that make magic happen. Interact with cross-curricular activities that inspire creativity, complex thinking, and guide students to discover that stories can be found everywhere. Foster the power of story and lead students though meaningful, purposeful storytelling projects!

What if learners could step inside history, trace global stories, or reimagine landmarks through their own narratives? This session explores Google Arts & Culture, Google Earth, and Google Maps for place-based storytelling. Participants leave with scaffolded models, resources, and tools to spark curiosity, build literacy, and connect past to present.

This station explores how our district is leading responsible innovation with AI through a comprehensive and inclusive approach to AI literacy. Attendees will engage with practical resources such as an AI Guide and one-pagers designed for staff, students, and families, and learn how we implemented required AI literacy training for all staff. The conversation will also highlight our plan for equipping students with the skills needed to navigate and use AI effectively. We will share challenges we encountered, how we addressed them through intentional planning and partnerships, and why community involvement is essential to this work. Visitors will leave with concrete ideas, sample prompts, and strategies they can adapt to begin or strengthen their own AI literacy efforts.
