Drop by the Creativity Crossroads Studio and make your mark with local muralist and illustrator Josh “Bump” Galletta! In this hands-on, drop-in workshop, you’ll learn quick tips for turning big ideas into simple, bold icons. Then design your own symbol inspired by three themes that shape powerful learning spaces: Creativity, Curiosity, and Belonging.
Once your icon is ready, add it to one of three growing community mural canvases. Watch the artwork grow as educators from across the conference contribute their icons throughout the day. No drawing experience needed—just bring your creativity and a willingness to play!
These murals are more than art; they’re visual works of what we value in our schools. All participants in community art pieces will be eligible to enter into a raffle on Monday afternoon, where the three completed artworks will be given away to participants to take back to their school, classroom, or home.
