Build Your Certificate of Attendance

Track the sessions you attend in My Favorites to generate an official certificate of attendance after ASCD Annual. A certificate is a requirement for many state continuing education units (CEU) programs.

Graduate Credit

Dominican University of California

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Dominican University of California offers a full professional development program for credentialed educators. By attending ASCD Annual in person or virtually, you can earn one or two graduate-level credits in professional development through the Dominican University of California.

To obtain credits/units, you must be registered for ASCD Annual, complete the required assignments, and pay a fee of $115 per credit/unit. University of San Diego

Located in gorgeous San Diego and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the University of San Diego offers a full professional development program for credentialed educators. By attending ASCD Annual you can earn one or two graduate-level credits in professional development through University of San Diego.

To obtain credits/units, you must be registered for ASCD Annual, complete the required assignments, and per credit/unit fee. Click here to sign up for University of San Diego’s program.

At ASCD Annual, USD will credit unit options for attending the conference.

Continuing Education Units

ASCD Annual is an approved content provider for CEUs in select states.

Texas

ASCD is an approved continuing professional education (CPE) provider for Texas educators. Track the sessions you attend in My Favorites to generate an official certificate of attendance after the event, then work directly with your district to receive credit. Be sure to record the CPE provider #500850.

New York

New York educators must maintain personal records of completed continuing teacher and education leader (CTLE), including:

  • The title of the activities.
  • Total number of hours completed.
  • Number of hours completed in content, pedagogy and language acquisition addressing the needs of English language learners.
  • Approved CTLE sponsor’s name and number.
  • Educators’ identifying information listed on the activities.
  • Attendance verification.
  • Date and location of the activities.

Other States

If you are a certified educator in Arizona, Georgia, California, Louisiana, Ohio, Virginia, Missouri or Indiana, please work directly with your district to receive credit using your certificate of attendance.

If you don’t live in one of the states listed above, you may still be eligible to get credit. Prior to the conference, contact your local school district or state Department of Education to find out how to secure CEUs.
