Laurel Aguilar-Kirchhoff is a former 8th-grade teacher who now serves as a university lecturer/ISTE author/consultant. Laurel works with educators to successfully integrate educational technology into the curriculum for student learning outcomes. Her areas of expertise include digital citizenship/media literacy, blended learning, student data privacy, and innovation. Laurel provides instructional practices to educators across the world as the instructor for the ISTEU Digital Citizenship course. Her ISTE book, “Bring History and Civics to Life" and Jumpstart Guide "Student Data Privacy-An Educators Guide" are available now. Laurel was named ISTE 20 to Watch in 2023.
