Session description

Bummed out about the passing of Jamboard? Lucid has got you! Lucid is an infinite whiteboard that allows students, teachers, and administrators to collaborate on projects, brainstorm, or braindump, all while building community. By the end of this session, you will be ready to use Lucid in your role!

Outline

5 minutes-introduce ourselves and what Lucid and why you should use it-the power of collaboration

10 minutes-Lucid basic features (how to make a sticky note and text box and use the table of contents)
Interact with 1st Lucid frame

10 minutes-how to use gifs/timers
interact with 2nd lucid frame-using emojis and grouping by emojis

10 minutes-how to create frames, lock frames, and share your board

Interactive-create your own board, create some frames, and share your board with someone on your table

10-Breakout boards-put participants into breakout board
Interactive-how to create a breakout board

10 minutes-how to look at your lucid history, Canvas LTI, different types of sharing

5 minutes- Q & A/wrap up
