Session description

Explore the cutting-edge tools, websites, and devices that were released after the ISTE proposal deadline. This session will showcase the resources that WOULD have been submitted back in October of 2024... if they had been available!

Outline

Introduction and Overview (5 minutes):

Brief introduction to the session and its purpose.
Overview of the timeline, focusing on innovation life cycles, trends that we've seen in the EdTech space, and where we are right now.

Latest EdTech Tools and Resources (15 minutes):
Presentation of key tools, apps, and websites launched post-deadline.
Highlighting unique features and potential classroom applications.

Interactive Demonstrations (25 minutes):
Hands-on demonstrations of selected tools and devices. In particular, focusing on resources that change the mould. We will also focus on demonstrations of unreleased and beta technologies that will be impacting educators in the immediate future.

Group Discussion and Q&A (10 minutes):
Open floor for questions and discussion on how participants might use these tools in their own settings.
Sharing of ideas and strategies for effective implementation.

Wrap-Up and Takeaways (5 minutes):
Summary of key points and resources shared during the session.
Distribution of a digital resource list with links to all tools and technologies discussed.
