Session description

The MY HERO Project's mission is to harness the power of media, art, and technology to celebrate the best of humanity. Founded in 1995, MY HERO is an oasis of goodness online, hosting an ever-growing library of inspiring stories, art, music, and short films honoring heroes of all ages.

Outline

The presentation will include an overview of
media from the MY HERO Website.
Sample outstanding short films made by students and professionals. The talk will engage the audience in reflection on the power of shining a light on the unsung heroes in our midst to build emotional intelligence and for SEL. The program will also include use of the curated content for ESL learners.
