Introduction of the benefits of incorporating inspiration as a stress reduction strategy
Content: Present strategies for educators to build personal resilience through:
Reading and reflecting on daily motivational messages
Setting an intentional daily routine of finding calm and inspiration
Deep breathing techniques
Activity: Participants will engage in learning a deep breathing exercise that can be used personally and taught to students. A take home tool will be shared with each participant.
Activity: Participants will use a provided strategy to assess the amount of energy they have for finding daily inspiration. A take home tool will be shared with each participant.
Key engagement strategies:
Frequent peer to peer interaction via discussion and activities
Hands on activity (e.g. deep breathing, energy evaluation, intention setting) to ensure practical application
