Session description

PromptEdu BR is a portal which contains reference materials to help K12 teachers develop AI literacy among themselves and with their students, through hands-on activities, prompt engineering tips, lesson plans ready to go and creativity cards to support the use of AI tools integrated with active methodologies.

Outline

Content:
- Fundamentals of AI (algorithm, prompt, prompt engineering, bias): experiments with Quick, Draw!, Say What You See and Teachable Machine.
- Creating good prompts for different learning purposes: creating and iterating with prompts without using technology (using postcards and paper to create and refine prompts)
- Prompt engineering and the 5E methodology: understanding the 5E methodology; using our creativity cards to create meaningfull lessons and resources
- Teaching AI to middle and high schoolers
