Session description

3D printing has become one of the most versatile technologies, offering endless possibilities for creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning, by allowing students to design, prototype, and create tangible solutions to real-world problems. We will explore how 3D printing can be seamlessly integrated into lesson plans to create immersive, interactive, and forward-thinking learning environments. We will outline the practical steps needed to integrate 3D printing into your classroom or school district, including designing cross-disciplinary projects and project-based learning activities, and setting up 3D printing to ensure that teachers and students have access to the necessary resources. At the end of this session, attendees will leave with practical tools, lesson plan ideas, and resources to confidently implement 3D printing in their classrooms, transforming their teaching practices and inspiring the next generation of creators.
