Moving beyond technological novelty, we'll examine pedagogical and cultural dimensions that transform digital learning spaces from merely efficient to truly inspiring, with examples from a diverse range of global educational settings.

1. Foundations of Engaging Smart Learning: Defining characteristics of effective smart learning environments and the importance of motivation and engagement in digital learning contexts. (10 minutes)
