How can we infuse smart learning environments with elements that spark genuine joy and motivation across diverse learning contexts? Moving beyond technological novelty, we'll examine pedagogical and cultural dimensions that transform digital learning spaces from merely efficient to truly inspiring, with examples from a diverse range of global educational settings.

Outline

1. Opening remarks introducing the concept of Global Smart Education and the panelists, by Prof. Kinshuk, who will moderate the session.

2. Each one of the four panelists will provide a personal experience on the use of technology and smart learning environments to inspire and motivate students.

3. Panel discussion: implementation challenges, regional contexts, diversity and equity, key metrics and actionable insights.
