Christy Gambrell is an Instructional Designer with Knowledge Acquisition and Performance Studies (KAPS) at ORETTC. Christy joined KAPS in 2023, after six years of instructional design in the private sector. She works primarily with NNSA’s Office of Radiological Security, developing trainings for their domestic portfolio. Christy believes in creating engaging courses that provide meaningful experiences for adult learners. Her strong bond with first responders is what motivates her desire to develop radiological response trainings that help first responders’ safe return home after each shift. Christy holds a Master of Professional Studies in Training and Development from Tennessee Technical University.
