Lacey Eckels started out as a middle school science teacher with a big question: “What if learning could feel… better?” Now she’s a Transformational Design Consultant with ElevatED, teaming up with educators and leaders to reimagine schools as joyful, learner-centered places. She co-leads Kentucky’s Local Laboratories of Learning, helping communities tell their stories and redefine success. A co-author of the Tools for Transformation series and champion for NGSS-aligned science, Lacey brings systems-level savvy from her time as K–12 Science Lead in Jefferson County. Her secret sauce? Big ideas, bold questions, and a deep love for teachers and learners alike.
