Event Information
Session will begin with a short 3-4 min introduction and group discussion on formative assessment.
We will then take time (5-6 min) to look at what the purpose of formative assessment is for teachers , building leaders, and district leaders.
The next 20 minutes will be spent having attendees experience some innovative formative assessment activities to open their eye to some new ways to assess student understanding
We will then take 7-8 min to debrief and break down what was accomplished and what the takeaways would be for the student, teacher, and administrators from these assessment opportunities.
The final few minutes will be spent addressing questions from the attendees.
