Session description

Interested in building AI literacy with young learners from PreK though grade 5? This session will explore a variety of strategies, activities, tools, and practices for engaging young learners in AI literacy concepts and skills. You'll hear from a team of experienced educators and experts, have a chance to try out several hands-on activities, and connect with fellow educators to share insights and use cases. Join us for an interactive session you won't forget!

Outline

Content and engagement: We will present the AI elementary activity guide that is being developed as part of the GM AI Explorations grant. The audience will hear an overview of the activities in the resource and learn how it was created. They will also get to explore the guide and have discussions with other participants about the content and how it might be used or adapted for use with students.
