This session offers a variety of interactive components (20-30 minutes) and lecture (15-30 minutes) designed to equip educators with practical and engaging ways to combat burnout. Participants will take part in small group table discussions (10-15 minutes) to provide a platform for sharing experiences and learning from others facing similar challenges. These facilitated discussions will offer new perspectives and ideas, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding among peers.
In addition, through role-playing peer to peer scenarios, attendees will build confidence in having boundary-setting conversations, making it easier to implement these strategies in their daily lives. (5-10 minutes)
Finally, the session includes a toolkit of practical self-care activities to help reduce stress. Educators will learn simple practices that can be easily incorporated into their daily routines, promoting long-term health and well-being. (individual; 5-10 minutes)
By engaging in these interactive components, educators will leave the session equipped with useful tools and strategies to maintain joy and balance in their professional and personal lives, ultimately leading to a healthier, more sustainable approach to leadership.
