Content and engagement: In this poster session, we will share the student framework which helps students select a digital tool to show what they know. We will create an eye-catching, colorful poster session that will spark curiosity and conversation. The two student presenters will be able to chat with all participants, bounce around ideas, and share anecdotes. The attendees will be able to scan a QR code or type in a shortened URL to make their own copy of the framework. They will be encouraged to use it as is or edit it to meet their needs.
Time: As with all poster sessions, our conversations will be relatively brief but meaningful. We hope our short conversations will demonstrate to educators how easy it can be to support students as they select their own tools to create and communicate.
Process: The student presenters and adult presenters will have small paper handouts for passersby to take with them, should they be in a rush. The small paper handouts will give a general overview and provide a QR code for them to scan to make a copy of the framework. The poster session area will also have a large QR codes to scan as well as shortened URLs to type in while talking to the presenters.
