1. Introduction & Session Overview (5 minutes)

 • Content: Overview of the session goals and agenda. Brief introduction to the role of AI in education and its transformative potential.
 • Engagement: Icebreaker poll using a digital polling tool to gauge attendees’ current experience and understanding of AI in education.
 • Process: Attendees respond using their devices, and results are displayed in real-time to spark initial discussion.

2. AI in Education: Opportunities and Challenges (5 minutes)

 • Content: Presentation on key areas where AI is impacting education, including personalized learning, automated assessment, and data-driven decision-making. Discuss common challenges such as bias, equity, and ethical considerations.

 • Process: Participants work in pairs or small groups to share ideas, then present back to the larger group on a Padlet, fostering peer-to-peer learning and diverse perspectives.

4. Hands-on Exploration: AI Tools in Action (10 minutes)

 • Content: Live demonstration of 2 AI tools (e.g., adaptive learning software, automated grading tools, data analytics platforms). Focus on practical applications and how to use them to enhance teaching and learning.
 • Engagement: Participants will have access to the tools on their devices (or through shared screens if virtual) to explore features and functionalities.
 • Process: Guided exploration with a step-by-step walkthrough. Attendees will complete short tasks within the tools, such as customizing learning pathways or analyzing sample student data.
