From Dabbling to Reimagining with AI: How Leaders are Transforming Learning in Their Districts

AI early adopters are learning the ropes on piloting and implementing AI-led innovation. National landscape studies led by the Center on Reinventing Public Education find that most are still grappling with questions of efficiency and effectiveness. How can leaders ultimately move from efficiency to transformation in their AI-led work? This panel will explore the foundational steps and lessons learned from two early adopters pursuing systemic change and a new vision for supporting teachers and students. Discussion will be aimed at education leaders and will focus on the challenges, barriers, and solutions system leaders are engaged in as they work to bring AI literacy to education systems.
